Rich And Wholesome recipe

We have fed our dogs and cats kibbles, from the 'supermarket' range to the holistic range.  We found that the overall health conditions of our animals deteriorated even when they are fed kibbles which are supposedly to be top-of-the-range food (we don't feed anything less) and profess to 'boost the immune system' and help in urinary health. We have readily fallen for all these sales talk, their claims of which are not in evidence. What is clear to us is that nowadays, dogs and cats, especially kittens and puppies, on the holistic and super premium kibbles don't seem to thrive. Instead, they drop like flies at the slightest sign of illness.

A current bout of urinary problems, some of which are serious enough to warrant hospital stay and caused a big hole in our pockets, has forced us to take a very serious look at what we are feeding our animals and face the stark truth that our animals do not thrive on so-called 'good, holistic' food. From feeding part-time RAWr, we are seriously considering full time, although it's going to cost us a BOMB, with over 220 cats, kittens, puppies and dogs to feed.  The cost is mind-boggling but now with the prices of kibbles spiralling, the cost of raw food is comparative to the cost of 'good, holistic' kibbles plus visits to the vet!! After some calculations, we came to the conclusion that for the price that we are paying for 'good, holistic' kibbles, we will be spending about the same on raw food - the best food for animals. Ironic, isn't it? To pay the same for a better food. Why not?

We noticed the following in our animals after feeding RAWr. These improvements are what we actually see in our animals, NOT plagiarize from some websites.

After putting them on RAWr, we noticed improvements such as

• greatly reduced "odor" from 'poo-poo'
  

  (We don't need to suffocate; we know since we do the cleaning ourselves)

• definitely less 'poo-poo'
  

  (That makes cleaning a breeze and we save on garbage bags)

• soft and shiny coat
  

  (This is a common comment by customers who are interested in adopting our

  animals)

• whiter teeth and no bad breath
  

  (We carry our animals and we smell their mouth to make sure that there is no halitosis

  as we learnt that it is one of the symptoms of kidney problem)

• better urinary health
  

  (We notice more urine but less straining. We go on all fours to check whether any

  urine flow when we see our dogs and cats urinating)

• less hairball problems
  

  (Patches of fur can be seen scattered on the floor which means hairball is vomitted

  out. There is no need for hairball medication)

Since RAWr is homemade, we use only human grade ingredients.  What we feed our dogs and cats, we feed the same to yours.
